The Forum presents a Web-based educational system that interfaces with existing training modalities and facilitates learning and assessment throughout response communities. The Forum permits the development of highly specific education and training programs for a widely diverse group with a differing knowledge base, while correcting weaknesses through training remediation. This secure venue allows individuals to form communities with common interests, goals and objectives. The Forum's content and functionality is peer-driven to provide the highest quality and applicable informatics to the user in preparation for, response to and recovery from complex medical emergencies. As such, participants are free to interact in the Forum as an expert, knowledge contributor or knowledge seeker.
